UNJUMBLE THE JUMBLED
A sentence is a set of words that is complete in itself, typically containing a subject and predicate, conveying a statement, question, exclamation, or command, and consisting of a main clause and sometimes one or more subordinate clauses.
The students of class VII performed an activity on the topic "sentences". The students were divided into four groups and were asked to frame two-two sentences from each type of sentences. For ex- the students made two declarative sentences, two imperative, two exclamatory and two interrogative. After framing the sentences, group A challenged group B and group C challenged Group D. Each team was supposed to guess the sentences.
The activity was further carried forward as the strips were cut into pieces and were jumbled up. Each group was given two minutes to unjumble the jumbled sentences.
